  • A research collaboration agreement was signed between IRD and AFD on 8 July 2021, ensuring IRD is a part of the management of AFD funds. IRD holds a dual position by providing project management and project management for the components in partnership with Météo-France.
  • The research agreement between IRD and Météo-France set the collaboration conditions for implementing CLIPSSA signed on 24 February 2022.
  • A framework partnership agreement for the South Pacific between AFD, IRD and Météo-France was signed on 27 April 2022. It aims to collaborate between the three institutions on climate change and disaster risk reduction in the French Pacific island states and territories.

Steering Committee (COPIL) and Scientific Committee (SC)

The project is coordinated by :

A Steering Committee (SC) ensures the project’s implementation and the monitoring of the results. It is the forum for consultation between the Parties for the project’s governance.

A Scientific Committee is to monitor, comment on and guide the scientific results of the project. It is the forum for consultation between the direct and indirect partners for the scientific choices relating to the project.
